I am not a blogger

I am not a blogger.

Putting my thoughts into words and creating engaging paragraphs is not something that easily comes by me.

My thoughts tend to wander in and out of where they're supposed to be going. On a trail with many twists and turns. Sudden surprises and stops. `Teaching my brain and hands to communicate in a way where it makes sense just doesn't come easily.

My mouth, however, can tell another story. It's easy to speak about things. Easy to emphasize on what I feel needs emphasizing. Easy to input emotions and characters. My mouth doesn't need a transition. It keeps going on the correct path to the finish line. There's a beginning, a middle, and an end to every story.

I don't have a 'writing style' that sets me apart from the others. A style that draws you as a reader in.

I don't have an extravagant lifestyle. I wake up and go through the motions of the day to day, prepping for the arrival of the little one, and eventually go back to bed. I cook, clean, and eat in these waking hours.

Eventually, maybe, I'll get better at this blogging thing. As I have more time and practice...

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. Preparations for the new two legged arrival are coming to an end. All that's left is assembling the crib and waiting it out. Every day I wait, somewhat patiently but mostly cliffside, for his arrival. Busying myself in farm chores and staying as active as possible.

The closer I get, the harder it is to do much physical laboring around the farm. I have found other things to do. Including finally getting this website up to speed. We've sold down on many of these breeds in preparation of our new arrival. Over the next few days I will be updating pictures and getting the website up to par.

I will update as I go, hopefully, for those of you who are still out there.

This past weekend we ventured up to Norman Oklahoma for their Omega Poultry Show. There were exhibitors everywhere, huge show! Very well put together. I may do a blurb on that later.

Undecided as always - happy hatching,

Kate
